Introduction:

In this help article, we will guide you through the process of preparing and sending a document for signing using Blueink. By following these simple steps, you can easily upload a document, add signers, and customize the signing order and fields.

Preparing and Sending a Document in Blueink:

Step 1: Uploading the Document

1.1. Go to the "Prepare & Send Doc" tab on the left side of your Blueink account.

1.2. Drag and drop the PDF or click to upload it. If the document is in your template library, select it by clicking "Use Document Template".

Please note: The document must be in PDF format.

Step 2: Adding Signers

2.1. Type the name of Signer 1 in the search bar. If this person isn't already in your account, you'll be prompted to add a new signer.

2.2. Enter the signer's email or phone number for delivery and click "Save".

Step 3: Customizing the Signing Order

3.1. Enable the blue toggle that says "sign in order" to customize the routing of the document.

3.2. Drag and drop your signers in the order you want them to sign. Signers' numbers do not change; the order goes from top to bottom.

Step 4: Placing Fields on the Document

4.1. Click on the signer for whom you want to add input fields.

4.2. Find the field you want to add, drag the cursor to the desired spot, and click again to place the field.

4.3. Make the field required or unrequired as necessary and resize it.

Step 5: Reviewing and Adjusting Bundle Settings

5.1. Check that all fields are in the correct location and assigned to the appropriate signers.

5.2. Customize Bundle settings by clicking the edit button next to each setting (e.g., Reminders, CC, Expiration, Custom Messaging, etc.).

5.3. Add an "Bundle Label" by clicking "Basics" on the "Review, Print, Send" tab.

5.4. Click "Send" to send out the Bundle for signing.

Conclusion:

By following these steps, you can efficiently prepare and send a document for signing using Blueink. If you need further assistance or have any questions, feel free to contact our support team.
