Whether you're new to envelope management or looking to optimize your workflow, this guide will equip you with the knowledge to make informed decisions and maximize the efficiency of your operations. Let's dive into the details to empower your envelope management experience.
Different Statuses of the Real-Time Dashboard in Blueink:
1. Draft
In the "Draft" status, you can revisit the envelope to make changes, similar to when you are preparing to send it. Just click the "Edit Envelope" button to proceed with editing.
2. Sent
In the "Sent" status, you have several options available for managing the envelope.
Here are the actions you can take:
2.1 Edit the signer. Clicking the Edit button allows you to:
Change the signer to a new one or change how the signer will be able to receive the envelope, either email or through phone
Enable or disable in-person signing
Manage notification settings
Add or remove authentication options
2.2 Copy envelope. By copying the envelope, you can create an identical duplicate. This is typically done when you need to make modifications to the document and resend it.
2.3 Cancel envelope. You may cancel the envelope if it is no longer needed or if you have modified it and wish to resend it.
2.4 Resend the link to the signer. If the signer accidentally deletes the email link or claims it was not received, you can simply click the resend button.
2.5 Review and sign. Signers with a Blueink account can conveniently sign documents directly on the platform, bypassing the need for email or phone access.
2.6 Start in-person signing. If the signer lacks access to email or phone, they can still sign the document in person with assistance from the sender. The sender can initiate this process by clicking a button to facilitate the signing.
3. Started
In the "Started" status, the available options are similar to those in the "Sent" status. However, the Edit button is no longer accessible, and the event log includes additional details related to the document.
4. Completed
In the "Completed" status, you have the following options:
Download the completed document
Resend the completed document to the signer
View and download the certificate of evidence
5. Cancelled
In the "Cancelled" status, the only available action is to copy the envelope. The event log will indicate who cancelled the document.
